SHIPPING AND SHOP POLICIES

Lead Time

All of my jewellery is made-to-order and therefore requires a little time before shipping.  Most items are ready to be shipped 1-2 weeks after payment is received.  Custom orders may take longer.

Payment

Payment is accepted through Square (credit or debit card) or PayPal.  If you are based in Australia you may pay via Direct Bank Deposit. Details for Direct Bank Deposit are provided after checkout is completed.

Legal agreements for Square can be found on their website https://squareup.com/au/en/legal/general/ua

Legal agreements for PayPal can be found on their website https://www.paypal.com/au/webapps/mpp/ua/legalhub-full

Shipping and customs

I individually handmake each item after you place your order and payment is received. I don’t use pre-made components, so this takes a little time, usually between 1-2 weeks.

Items are carefully wrapped and shipped in a sturdy cardboard box, which is gift wrapped. A plastic outer envelope ensures protection from the elements.

I ship all orders via Australia Post, and include tracking as standard.  You can select either standard or express post at checkout.  If you wish to purchase insurance, please contact me when you place your order. Please note: express post refers only to the shipping method.  Your order will be made in the usual timeframe of 1-2 weeks.

I SHIP FROM AUSTRALIA. International customers please note that, depending on your location, parcels shipped as standard may take up to 3-4 weeks to arrive, occasionally longer depending on your local postal services and customs requirements.  See below for shipping timeline estimates.

If your package does not turn up within the expected timeframe, please check the tracking number.  If you have any concerns, contact me.

Please familiarise yourself with your country’s customs and tax laws.  I do not accept responsibility for any customs issues, payments or refusals. If a parcel returns to me from customs in its original condition, you may choose to either purchase additional postage for me to re-send the item, or receive a refund, less the initial shipping fee and a 20% restocking fee.  I am not able to offer refunds for custom orders.

OTHER BITS AND PIECES

Personality of handmade goods

All of my items are handmade, and no two are ever alike. This is intentional, and it means that yours will vary a little from the image shown. Shape, colour and size differences are minimal.  However the pattern, although very similar to the one pictured, will be a unique one-of-a-kind.  Just for you.

Slight irregularities are a feature of handmade products. It’s evidence of the heart and soul of the maker, and it’s much nicer than mass produced, machine-made products.  That’s why you’re shopping handmade, after all.

Online vs In-Real-Life colours

I go to great lengths to ensure that colours are accurately represented.  However due to infinite differences in electronic device displays, there may be a slight difference between the colour of the physical item and the electronic image of the item.

Jewellery care

Please check out the Jewellery Care page for information on how to keep your item looking lovely for years (and years) to come. I make these babies to last!
